What Happens During System Upgrade (PROD Deployments)


  • New features/enhancements / Bug fixes are added to the Procella product every month. To reflect those changes in your instance (your prod environment), Procella team schedules a System Upgrade.
  • Usually, these upgrades happen once a month. They are mostly scheduled in the 3rd week of the month. The deployments are performed off hours (after 11:30 PM EST)
  • System Upgrade date/time and release notes are communicated to all clients prior, so they can be aware of the changes and can perform testing in their UAT environments.
  • Note:  Sometimes, it may be necessary to perform a hotfix/patch update for any critical issues identified in PROD. This may not be a scheduled update but we always keep the client informed about it.
  • When we perform a system upgrade, we put the client's switch in Maintenance mode
    • This automatically rejects the relayhealth claims with a 'Scheduled Downtime' response
    • Any clients that uses our pricing API will also see 'Scheduled Downtime' response.
    • Any clients that uses our API claims will also see 'Scheduled Downtime' response.
