About Client Services

Client Services

The Client Services menu brings you to the System Hierarchy sub-menu.  There are many ways to establish your system hierarchy.  Consider that once you have established records, you cannot change the hierarchy associated.  As noted, when a Carrier record is associated with a specific Sponsor, that Carrier cannot change to a different Sponsor. Below is an example.

Common Elements

Contacts

Contacts can be established at each level of the System Hierarchy, as well as other areas of the system.  The functionality is the same.  A contact has minimum requirements, but include First Name, Last Name and Contact Type.

In the contact screen, you can add one or more contacts as needed.  Simply click on Add Contact and enter the data. An existing Contact can be edited as well as removed.

ID Card Production

The ID Card Production setup is consistent from Group up through PBM.  The ID Card Production consists of 2 fields.  The Card Status and ID Card Production vendor assignment.  Remember, when you access the ID Card Sections, you are accessing the entire System Hierarchy record and effective start and end dates are important.

The ID Card process follows the setups (described below), through the hierarchy until it has an actionable decision.

Card Status

The Card Status tells the ID Card process what to do at this level.  The process can either:

  • Bypass:  Bypass tells the process to continue to look for the ID Card production setup.
  • Cards:  Use the ID Card Production information to process cards, or
  • No Cards:  No Cards indicate to the system that there are no additional checks for ID Card process.  Any card requests working through the System Hierarchy that hits this option will stop.  No cards will be produced.

ID Card Production

The ID Card Production is where, for Card Status selection of CARDS, the vendor selection is captured.  The Card Vendor information is setup in Administration/Vendor Management.  The options available will be listed in the right-side listing.  If the listing you require is not presenting, either search for the correct record or establish the one required.
